“Under the dedicated leadership of both John Caputo and Tom Bennett backed by a team of executives with deep CRM industry experience, Maximizer Software has differentiated itself as one of the industry’s major players – growing its CRM business by over 50% over the last four years, more than doubling the pace of the industry in general,” said Terry Hui, Chairman of the Board, Maximizer Software Inc. “Re-aligning the company structure will optimize company performance through better leverage of the current executive management team’s expertise and will ensure a singular, focused vision, direction and control for the company. I look forward to the company’s advancement under John Caputo’s leadership and welcome Tom Bennett with his more than 18 years of CRM industry expertise as a member of Maximizer’s board of directors.”

In 2005, Caputo was named to Business In Vancouver magazine's '40 under 40,' an annual list of B.C.'s 40 most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 40.

Over the past four years, with Caputo and Bennett as Co-Presidents, Maximizer Software has realized on all four of its corporate objectives. It’s first two corporate objectives of growing revenue and profitability were attained through the realization of a 54% increase in its revenues, on a US dollar basis, as well having its CRM business GAAP profitable in each year over the four year period. Further, the Company has built significant market momentum by achieving its second two corporate objectives of expanding its customer base and increasing its brand recognition. Over the past four years, the company has earned no less than 25 high-profile industry awards – including CRM Magazine’s Market Leader Awards in both the SFA and SMB Suite categories. Recently, Maximizer Software successfully launched Maximizer 9 and Maximizer Enterprise 9, which have been selected by more than 30,000 small and medium-sized business users from several thousand growing companies.

As President, Caputo will lead corporate strategy and direction as well as oversee operations across the company’s three geographic regions of the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific. The company’s Vice President, Finance Kam Sandhu, a Chartered Accountant who joined the company in 2000 as Corporate Controller, has been promoted to Vice President, Finance & Administration and will assume Caputo’s finance, administration, information technology and human resources responsibilities.

Tom Bennett, one of the original developers of Maximizer, will retire from his role as Chief Technology Officer and assume a strategic role on the company’s board of directors. William Anderson, who has more than 14 years of CRM industry experience, has been promoted from Vice President, Product Development to Executive Vice President, Technology and will take over direction of product strategy, planning and customer support.
